Meet Dexter

Hi, my name is Dexter. I'm a happy-go-lucky guy who got dealt a bad hand in life, but I am not letting that get me down. I live life to my fullest despite my mobility issues. I'm a seven year-old bundle of energy and joy. I'm a Maltese-poodle mix. (who looks an awful lot like a Bichon, in my auntie's opinion!) I was born with a neurological disorder that affects my equilibrium and my ability to walk--but I don't let that get me down! I'm too smart for that...nothing stops me. BROC has equipped me with the latest and greatest doggie wheels, of course, and I'm a champion driver--but even without wheels I can scramble around the yard to chase my foster brother - as well as any other dog.

Sweet Sofia

Sweet Sofia

This is our Sweet Sofia. Her personality is as big as her beautiful name. She’s a petite little girl, about five years old.  She is precious, fun, and full of spirit. Sofia is considered a special needs pup because she took a fall before becoming a BROC BABE, and the doctors said she would NEVER walk again due to a spinal cord rupture. But her foster mom says she has the will to get wherever she wants; nothing holds her back.

BROC bought some custom wheels for Sofia, and you should see her run. She’s like a horse in its chariot. She is truly adorable.

Cooper Webiste

Cooper

Hello! My name is Cooper and I am a 22 -pound, nine year old male Westie-poo. My foster mom says I am the sweetest, easiest pup she has ever met. I love to follow my human around and cuddle up on their lap as soon as they sit down. I'm not real great at staying alone, I prefer to have someone home with me or to be taken on errands with my person. I'm great in the car and with all other pups and people. Since I really like "all" the attention, I would do great as the only pup in my new home. I do take thyroid medication twice a day, but I take it really easy, just can't forget to give it to me, it's really important in keeping me healthy. I just developed an eye condition that is going to require drops twice a day.

Louis

Louis

Hello! My name is Louis, and I am a 16-pound nine-year-old male Bichon Frise mix. My family couldn’t take care of me any longer, and now I’m living with my forever foster, who loves me and makes sure I have everything I need! I will require a very special patient adopter because I have some behavior concerns. It may take a while to find the perfect adopter for me, so I’ll need to live with my foster for a long time. Lila (1)

Lovely Lila

Hello! My name is Lila and I am 7 year-old, 9-pound female miniature Poodle mix. I am a sweet girl - smart and affectionate! I will shower you with love and cuteness, but I do prefer to be the center of your attention. That means I should be the only pup in the home, without competition from other dogs or even children. As for you, though, I will follow you everywhere, hoping you will sit down so we can cuddle. If you want to form an extremely close bond with a dog, then I'm your gal. I do need daily eye drops and some other meds, but I am in good health overall.

Will you consider Sponsporing me!

Our commitment to every pup does not waiver when they have special needs. Some of our fluffs have been diagnosed with conditions that significantly reduce the likelihood of traditional adoption, while others are terminal. We have amazing volunteers committed to fostering these special needs rescue pups until the end. Please consider becoming a sponsor for one or more of these pups. Your monthly donation may cover the cost of one office visit, a vital prescription, or a host of other special needs.
