Hello! I'm Terrific Tessi, a 14-pound,  7- year old female Bichon Frise mix. I'm a very sweet gal, and I just love to hang out with my humans. I'm good with other pups, yet I'm fine as an "only child" as well, because I am a modern, independent girl! Just don't leave me behind! I want to go wherever you go. That's why I'd probably do best in a home with someone who is home most of the time. 

 I might take a while to get acclimated to my new home, but once I do I will feel happy and at home. I will tell you when I need to go out or come back in, but I still can't get the hang of a doggy door.  I'm a champ at getting baths.  I don't use the stairs and don't go on furniture, so my aunties figure that wasn't allowed in my previous home. (I tried to tell them, but I can't talk.)  I'm not much of a cuddler in the traditional sense of wanting to be on your lap or next to you on the couch, but I do show my love in other ways, and I'll always look forward to greeting you in the morning (I love a scratch under my chin).  Of course, food time is always a fun-time and get this--I sing for my meals! I picked that up from my foster sister! However, once I'm fed I'm a good girl and am quiet for the rest of the day. My foster Mom says I am a joy to have in the house and that I get along with everyone who comes to visit. I think I'm a joy to have anywhere--and by the way, I'm great in cars too! 

I like to go outside when it gets cooler in the late afternoon (we Bichons don't tolerate heat very well).  I like walks a lot and behave well on leash. One of my favorite things, though, is ripping apart plush toys, but Mom says that's a no-no. That's because I tear the stuffing out of them, and she says that I'm not the one who has to clean it up! 

I am well loved and well-cared for with my foster family but I'm really looking for my forever home. I have had a thorough health examination, am microchipped and  will have a dental cleaning prior to adoption.
