Hello! My name is Ricki and boy-oh-boy, you'll want to take me home when you read about my personality. It's a big one.
I am eight years young. How can I be eight...and young? It's all in the head, and in my head I'm a puppy (except I don't chew on shoes and table legs). I can beat sharks (mechanical) at their own games! I chase them down, and when they shift into reverse, I back up and run away. No shark is having ME for dinner! My foster Mom says I am silly.
I'm super curious, just like a pup. I stand on my back legs to look out the window to watch people and their pets walk by. I like hanging my head out the car window (leashed to the seat of course) to sniff the local flora and do shout-outs at fellow canines. My favorite activity is to stop at Starbucks for a Puppuccino! No snoozing on OUR car rides. There is always something to hold my interest.
As for walks, I'm not the type to stop and smell the roses. My favorite sport is power walking! I have been able to walk up to two miles with my foster people. I do stop for potty breaks, but then I'm off again...looking for a new adventure.
I'm a morning pup. I like to walk early and play with my toys in the afternoon. I love squeaky toys and I have a stuffed snowman that I like to throw around. Pull toys fascinate me. Foster Mom says I am very smart. After all, I can tell time! At precisely 7 a.m., and again at 5 p.m., I go to my food bowl to await my meal. I know precisely when my foster Mom turns her car onto the driveway. Also, I remember exactly where a doggie friend of mine lives, and I wait for him to say hello when we arrive. (And remember, I can outsmart sharks.)
I'm house-trained, have my own microchip, and have had a recent medical exam. Adopt me and let's make wonderful memories together! If you have room in your heart and home for me, please complete an adoption application.
